Johnny Appleseed Tree and Pioneer Garden
This tree is the central focal point from the house and was given to Governor Taft by Steve George on Arbor Day 1999. It is a clone of one started by John Chapman in Ohio. The other apple tree close by is one planted by Governor Voinovich during his 1998 campaign for the US Senate.
