The Solar Array and Bog Garden

Guy Denny renovated fishpond the Bog Garden so that it is now a cranberry bog complete with live sphagnum, cranberry plants, pitcher plants, and sundews. Kettle lakes that formed as the ice from the glaciers retreated and provided the perfect conditions for northern plants that stayed behind are represented by the Bog and Shrub Bog Gardens. In a special bed at the end of herb garden grow tall bush blueberry, bog rosemary, chokeberry and royal fern. Like the bog, it must be watered only with rainwater to stay alive. Klyn Nurseries supplied these plants.
