Rain Barrel
Below is the rain barrel at the Residence. The wording on the barrel reads "Rain water is a free non-chemically treated natural resource for plants and animals. Central Ohio gets an average of 37" of rain a year that can be stored and used by you to save money and the aquifer." Painted on the barrel are six different plants native to Ohio:
- Lakeside daisy
- Small white lady’s-slipper
- Fringed gentian
- Wild lupine
- Calopogon or grass-pink orchid
- Royal catchfly.
