The Hollister Family,
December 31, 1998-January 11, 1999

George Voinovich became a United States Senator on December 31, 1998, so Lieutenant Governor Nancy Hollister served the eleven days remaining in his term as Governor. The Hollisters moved into the Residence so the acting Governor had access to security and communications necessary for the position. Governor Hollister and her family enjoyed a memorable New Year’s Eve in their temporary home.
