This Roseville Pottery 7 3/8 inch vase is molded in the Freesia pattern. The Freesia pattern was introduced in 1945 and was available in blue, brown-orange-russet, or green. The background is textured, and the foreground features stylized freesia blossoms in white, yellow, or lavender. A company brochure dated July, 1945 advertises the Freesia line’s availability in “48 graceful shapes and sizes” and “rich, new underglaze colors”.
