| This small, rounded vase is one of a pair kept at the residence. It was made by the Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. Although it originally produced art pottery with underglaze portraiture like Rookwood's, Roseville soon abandoned those techniques in favor of molds. Roseville specialized in high quality molded pottery, and it released a new pattern almost every year. |
